is an introductory curling program for schools. It was designed to allow children to discover curling for the first time.
BLIZZARD
The Blizzard program was designed to use curling to promote sport and physical activity among children in elementary schools (6-12 years old).
TIC, TAP & TOC
Tic, Tap & Toc or “TTT” is a youth skills competition where kids age 6-13 compete as individuals.
CURLING IN THE GYM
Curling in the gym is a guide to introduce students to the sport of curling in the gymnasium and it is an interesting opportunity to learn skills on ”dry land”.
CURLING 101
Curling 101 program (also known as Learn to Curl) aimed people that haven’t curl before but that would be interested in being initiated to the sport.
TRIPLES CURLING
Triples Curling is an exciting new discipline developed by Curling Canada. As its name suggests, curlers compete in teams of 3 when playing Triples. All ends consist of 6 rocks thrown per team, with each player throwing 2 rocks.
U-12 & U-18 PROGRAMS
U-12 Learn to Curl
Curling Canada’s U12 Learn to Curl program is designed to introduce children to the sport of curling. During the 8-week program, the objective is to have fun, increase physical literacy with key fundamental movement skills.
U-18 Learn to Curl
Similarly to its U12 counterpart, Curling Canada’s 8-week U18 Learn to Curl program is designed to introduce teens to the sport of curling.
