The Scotties Tournament of Hearts begins Friday, Feb. 16 at 6:00 p.m. The team formed by Marie-France Larouche, Kelly Middaugh, Emily Riley, Jamie Sinclair and Laurie St-Georges will represent Quebec against 17 other teams from across Canada. While the team won the provincial championship title after a perfect week in Drummondville in mid-January, they will have to face 8 teams in the preliminary round: Team Canada, Newfoundland and Labrador, Saskatchewan, Lawes (MB), Alberta, Brown (BC), Northern Ontario and Prince Edward Island. They will face Team Canada skipped by Kerri Einarson in their first game on Friday night at 8:00 p.m. You will be able to follow the results of the games by clicking here.
Following the round robin, the top three teams in each pool advance to the playoffs. There will be no tiebreakers; if teams are tied for a playoff spot, head-to-head results will be the first tiebreaker, and if that doesn’t resolve the tie, Last-Shot Draw rankings will rank the teams — the same formula used at World Championship events and the Winter Olympics.

The winner will represent Canada at the 2024 BKT Tires World Women’s Curling Championship March 16-24 in Sydney, N.S.
