Want to try something new? Perfect, you’re in the right place!

During the Winter Olympics, curling takes the spotlight. But curling isn’t just an Olympic sport to watch on TV. It’s accessible, surprising, really fun… and most importantly, you can try it yourself.

What exactly is curling?

Curling is a sport of precision and strategy played on ice. The goal is simple: slide granite stones on the ice to place them as close as possible to the center of a target called the house. You throw a stone, aim carefully, think, communicate… and yes, sweep hard. Behind its calm appearance, curling is a sport that is:

  • strategic and smart
  • social and inclusive
  • accessible to all ages (from 6 to 90 years old… at least!)
  • full of little joys you only understand once you try it

Don’t worry, we’ll explain everything to you!
