As part of the rebate program for U-21 members, a special fund is established to support clubs in their initiatives for young athletes.
This program provides that an amount of $1 is paid into this fund for each duly affiliated U-21 member. All contributions are then redistributed in the form of two grants awarded through a random draw, allowing the winning clubs to continue their junior development projects. Each affiliated member also represents one entry into the draw.
The annual draw took place on February 11. For the current season, the value of each grant is $400.
The winning clubs are:
- Vallée-de-la-Gatineau Curling Club
- Pointe-Claire Curling Club
An amount of $400 will be paid to each club over the next few days to support their activities and programs aimed at developing young athletes.
Congratulations to the winning organizations and their young members, who actively contribute to the vitality and future of curling.
