The Baie-Comeau Curling Club will debut a new curling event with a charitable goal: the Rendez-vous provincial Curling 101, April 3-5 2020, calling all curlers of all ages, with 3 years of curling experience, or less, to get on the ice and play in a friendly tournament.
Participants will play friendly draws of 6 ends, and should there be any question about their experience level, teams are allowed to bring a coach along for the ride! Players will be able to get coached on the ice, during their games, to help them implement game strategies from their more experienced coaches.
Team registrations are $250 and can be made on the Baie-Comeau Curling Club website: curlingbaiecomeau.com.
All team members must belong to a Curling Québec-affiliated curling club and have three years or less experience. All ages welcome.
Registration deadline is March 23rd, 2020.
All proceed from the tournament will go to support the new partnership between Kurling 4 Kids and the Fondation de la santé et des services sociaux de Manicouagan.
