Reminder – Approved Brush Heads

At the start of this season, Curling Québec would like to remind all players and coaches of the rules regarding approved brush heads for tournaments on the provincial men’s, senior men’s, and junior circuits, as well as for most provincial championships and the Jeux du Québec. These rules do not apply to U15 regional tournaments, nor to the following championships: The Provincial stick curling championship, provincial wheelchair curling championship, battle of the Clubs, Caledonia Cup, and Colts Provincial.

Update: Changes to Approved Foams

This summer, World Curling updated its list of approved foams. Some products that were previously accepted have been removed. Tournament organizers are not required to check players’ equipment, but it is important to be aware of what is and is not permitted. The manufacturers affected are: Hardline, Goldline, and BalancePlus.

    • Pursuer(black) ❌ Not approved (removed March 2025)
    • Evader (grey) ❌ Not approved

    • Pulsar (white) ✅ Approved

    • eLite for BalancePlus ✅
    • eLite for LiteSpeed ✅
    • eLite for LiteSpeed XL ✅

    • Original RS (white) ✅ Approved
