The 2026 Canadian Women’s Championship, the Scotties Tournament of Hearts, will get underway on January 23 in Mississauga, Ontario. This edition also marks a first-ever Scotties appearance for Team Fortin–Lafrance from the Kénogami Curling Club, which will proudly represent Quebec on the national stage. The team is composed of Jolianne Fortin, Emy Lafrance, Megan Lafrance, Mégane Fortin, along with their coach Brandon Lafrance.
For the Scotties, 18 teams representing the 14 member associations of Curling Canada will be divided into two pools of nine teams. Team Quebec will compete in Pool A. They will face teams from Nova Scotia (Stevens), Manitoba (Lawes), Yukon, Canada, Saskatchewan, Ontario, British Columbia and the Northwest Territories.
The team will play its first game on January 23 at 7:00 p.m. and will wrap up round-robin play with a game on January 29 at 2:00 p.m. The top teams from each pool will then advance to the playoff round.
The Scotties Tournament of Hearts will be broadcast on RDS and TSN.
