Just as it as announced in the fall, we have decided that 2 Regional Qualification tournaments will be held in the spring of 2026. For the past few seasons, 6 events were held from early October to late November on 3 different weekends which made the schedule for that period of the season very busy. Now, 2 events will be held in the spring and 4 will be held in the fall.
For 2026, the first 2 events will be held from March 6th to 8th at the Valleyfield and Amos curling clubs. The 2 teams who will win these events will be the first teams to qualify for the 2027 Tankard.
To be eligible, teams must be registered for the 2027 Tankard. We have already opened registrations for this championship. The registration form is available on our website. After they have registered for the 2027 Tankard, teams can contact the organiser of the event they wish to participate in:
- Valleyfield curling club (Simon Hébert)
- Amos curling club (Jonathan Parrot)
Teams who want to play in these events must be registered to the tankard and have contacted the event’s organiser on February 22nd at the latest. For more information, we ask you to contact or Director of Competitions, Émile Asselin.
