Two more Regional Qualification tournaments That were held from 24th to the 26th of October at the Vallée-de-la-Gatineau (Maniwaki) and the Nairn (Clermont) curling clubs. The two winning teams would obtain a spot at the 2026 men’s provincial championship (Tankard).
In Maniwaki, five teams participated in the event. After the preliminary round, team Leduc from the valley field curling club (3-1) qualified directly for the final and team Bédard of the Noranda (3-1) curling club had to face off against team Prévost (2-2) of the Vallée-de-la-Gatineau curling club. In the semifinal, team Bédard had the advantage over team Prévost. In the final it was team Leduc (Alexandre Leduc, François Hallé, Nicolas Dumaresq and Martin Trépanier) that got the win over team Bédard. This win qualifies them for the men’s provincial championship in Rimouski at be beginning of January 2026.
In Clermont, eight teams were registered. After the preliminary round, two teams per section qualified for the semifinals. In Pool A, team Girard from the Chicoutimi curling club (3-0) and team Bornais from the Jacques-Cartier and Trois-Rivières curling clubs (2-1) were qualified. In Pool B, team Simard-Tremblay from the Nairn curling club (3-0) and team Elmaleh from the Victoria curling club (1-2) we’re also qualified. After winning their respective semifinal, team Elmaleh and team Bornais participated in the final during which team Elmaleh (Maxime Elmaleh, Sébastien Audet, Antoine Provencher, David Boivin et Steven Munroe) were victorious And obtained their spot at the provincial championship.

The last two regional qualification tournaments will be held from November 21st to 23rd at the Valleyfield and De-la-Vallée curling clubs.
