Participating in a Curling Québec competition this season? Make sure your equipment complies with the rules!

Curling Québec would like to remind teams of the equipment permitted at various provincial competitions. This information is intended to prevent misunderstandings and allow all teams to prepare adequately before their competitions.

The authorized equipment applies to:

• Provincial Men’s, Women’s, Senior and Masters circuits;
• Qualification events and provincial championships in the elite categories;
• Tremplin and Excellence junior circuits;
• Junior mixed doubles tournaments;
• Junior championships (Jamboree Junior, U15 Regional Final, U18-U20 Brosse Performance Provincial Championships, Junior Mixed Doubles Provincial Championship).

Please consult the document or images below on authorized equipment to find out which equipment is permitted at these competitions.

We encourage clubs and teams to review this information and share it with the people concerned.

Please note: clubs hosting competitions are not required to systematically check teams’ equipment. However, it is recommended that they ensure participating teams are informed of the rules in order to prevent potential misunderstandings or conflicts.
