Good news for the juniors! Curling Québec, in partnership with SportsPay, is launching two scholarship programs designed to support young athletes in their journey and remove financial barriers that limit access to the sport.
Two Scholarship Programs
Program 1 – Curling Ambassadors: Promoting Excellence and Commitment
The first program offers five $1,000 scholarships to athletes already active in junior curling. These young athletes stand out not only for their curling skills but also for their personal qualities: respect, sportsmanship, perseverance, and community involvement.
👉 Application deadline: October 15, 2025
👉 Announcement of recipients: November 1, 2025

Program 2 – Barrier-Free Access to Curling: Giving Everyone a Chance
The second program aims to remove financial barriers for new curlers. Ten $500 scholarships will be awarded to young athletes in their first year of curling who wish to join a club.
The goal is simple: to allow more young people to discover and grow in the sport.
👉 Application deadline: January 15, 2026
👉 Announcement of recipients: February 1, 2026

SportsPay: A Committed Partner
This project is made possible through a strong partnership with SportsPay, which shares the same values of inclusion, accessibility, and youth support. Through these scholarship programs, Curling Québec and SportsPay affirm a strong belief: every young person deserves the opportunity to succeed in sports, regardless of skill level or financial situation.
