1- Last reminder for Tic, Tap & Toc : If you haven’t done already done so, this is the final reminder for the Tic, Tap & Toc event. This competition must be completed before December 17th for your kids to have the chance to be qualified for the provincial final on January 19th, 2019. 2- Junior Jamboree: The Junior Jamboree is sure to be a fun event for all the participants! Each team will be guaranteed to play 3 games and a spaghetti dinner will be included. The registration deadline is January 27, 2019. Register quickly! Only 8 teams will be accepted per section. https://curlingcanada.formstack.com/forms/jamboree.
This will be the first time that we try the new Triples Curling format in Quebec. In this format, teams are made up of 3 players, the games last 6 ends, and players change positions after every 2 ends. 3- Cream of the Rock is back!: We are happy to announce the return of the CREAM OF THE ROCK contest! This game is for curling fans, predictive geniuses and those “behind the glass skips”. Effectively we are searching for the person who knows the most about curling in Quebec… or maybe just the luckiest curling fan in the province. The concept is very simple. To participate you simply have to complete a short online form before the start of each designated provincial championship. Within the form you will select the podium teams for each category. A perfect prediction will earn you 9 valuable points according to the following scale:
Gold = 5 points
Silver = 3 points
Bronze = 1 point
The form for the Brosse Performance Junior provincial championship is now active online. Registration is free! This year the season will be divided up into three sections with prizes awarded at the end of each section. 4- Invitation : Sherbrooke curling club is waiting for you at the Invitation Jean-Guy Blanchard Memorial Invitation tournament from February 24th to March 3rd, 2019.
5- Invitation : Magog curling club invites you to its Women’s ‘La Cabane à sucre’ tournament from March 13th to 16th, 2019.
