LAST EMAIL OF THE 2017-2018 SEASON
1- Sport’Aide – the 833-2 «11-AIDE» line service is now available: This service, which is available 24/7, allows for anyone involved in sports (athletes, coaches, directors, administrators, officials, parents and volunteers) to confide in someone or to seek information if they were a victim or a witness to any kind of abuse in their sports environment. The free service allows users to reach the team of specialists by telephone or via virtual avenues (chat, text messaging, e-mail or Facebook). 2- Meritas Awards 2017-2018: The application period is now over. Curling Québec mailed the corresponding applications to the regional associations today. The regional associations have until May 31st to select their finalists of each category and let Curling Québec know their choices. The winner’s selection period will run from June 1st to August 31st. Final selections will be made by Curling Quebec. The winners will be annouced during the Annual General Meeting in September.
3- REMINDER: HP CAMPS – September 7-9: Are you looking to kick-off the next season ahead of the pack and learn from experienced coaches ? Secure your spot quickly to one of the 2 sessions still avalaible offered next September in Boucherville (there are still a few spots available for the Friday and Sunday sessions. 4- Invitation: Quebec’s Senior Curling Tournament will replace the Michel-Morisset Senior Tournament which ceased its activities in 2017. The first edition of the Quebec’s Senior tournament will take place from Thursday September 27th to September 31st, 2018 at the Jacques-Cartier and Victoria curling clubs. Four categories (Seniors, Masters, Women and Participation) are programmed and prizes will be offered. Register before September 1st, 2018. For more info: invitationseniorquebec@live.ca.
