Mélianne Darveau will receive an important scholarship for her efforts in sports and academics.
The 2022 Scotties and Tankard will take place at the Mistouk Sports Centre in Alma from January 5-13, 2022.
The program will award 11 scholarships, an increase from the usual 10, of $2,500 each to student curling athletes in Canada.
The Curling Quebec Board of Directors has passed a resolution to extend last year’s terms of affiliation.
Save the date: this year’s Curling Quebec Assembly will take place on August 31st, 2021, at 7:00 p.m. via teleconference.
Canada’s most talented senior-aged curlers will converge in Sault Ste. Marie, Ont., and battle for the 2021 Everest Canadian Senior Curling Championships, from Dec. 6-11, 2021.
Both levels of government (federal and provincial) want to help affiliated regional clubs and associations to remain operational.
