For several years, the sports community has been adapting in order to promote the inclusion of all people and to promote equity and diversity. In March 2022, Curling Canada adopted its “Transgender and Non-Binary Inclusion Policy”, taking the first step towards inclusion, respect and enhancement of gender identity in our sport.
Curling Québec has decided to follow suit and adopt its policy regarding the inclusion of transgender and non-binary people. PA copy of the version adopted in March 2024 and scheduled to come into effect on September 1st, 2024 can be found here. Curling Québec encourages all of its player and club members to read this policy and to adopt and maintain behavior that respects all of the rules as well as the athletes.
