All teams played six games in the preliminary round. On the girls’ side, Quebec 1 struggled to find their footing, finishing with 1 win and 5 losses. Meanwhile, Quebec 2 qualified for the Round of 16 with an impressive record of 4 wins and 2 losses. They secured an 11-1 victory over Manitoba #2 (Buchalter) but unfortunately fell in the quarterfinals to the eventual champions.

In the boys’ division, both QC1 and QC2 dominated the preliminary round, finishing with records of 5 wins and 1 loss, and 6 wins and 0 losses, respectively. Their stellar performances earned them both direct spots in the quarterfinals—where, unfortunately, they had to face each other. After a tightly contested game, QC2 emerged victorious to advance to the semifinals.
In the semifinals, Ontario #1 (MacTavish) proved to be a tough opponent, sending Quebec to the bronze medal game. The Quebec team fought hard, stealing the last three ends to secure the bronze medal with a thrilling comeback!
Congratulations to Quebec 2 for their well-deserved medal and to all four teams for their outstanding performances this week—the future of Quebec curling looks bright!
