The Canadian Club Curling Championship begins on Tuesday November 18th in Winnipeg, Manitoba. This championship is reserved for non-elite curlers and each member of a team must be members of the same curling club. The event’s preliminary round will run until November 21st and the playoffs will be on November 22nd and 23rd.
On the women’s side, the team representing the Trois-Rivières curling club consists of Miriam Perron, Marie-Laurence Bergeron, Véronique Gingras, Marie-Pier Ayotte and Manon Morin. In the preliminary round, they will face New Brunswick, Newfoundland and Labrador, Nova Scotia, Manitoba, Northwest Territories and Ontario.
For the men’s, the team of Ghislain Doyon, Sonny Melançon, Serge St-Germain et Vincent Raymond represent the club sports Belvédère. They will play against Prince Edward Island, British Columbia, Northern Ontario, Manitoba, Nova Scotia and Nunavut.
