The governments of Quebec and Canada announced a few months ago the creation of the FONDS DE SOUTIEN EN SPORT, a special project aimed at financially supporting clubs in the province.
Curling clubs were extremely proactive and a total of 39 applications were completed. Curling Quebec also worked very hard throughout the process alongside the URLS, Sports Quebec and the Ministry and we are extremely proud to announce that all eligible curling clubs that participated in the program have received a grant of 2 500$ or more.
In all, the 39 curling clubs shared a total prize pool of $ 217,000.
We wish to salute the exceptional work of all those involved in this great initiative. Congratulations to all clubs presidents/volunteers involved and thank you to Sports Quebec at URLS and the MEES for their precious collaboration.
