The 2025 Canadian Senior Championship finished on December 6th. This season, the championship was played at the Ottawa Hunt club.
In the men’s event, the team of Robert Desjardins, François Gionest, Yannick Martel, René Dubois and Stewart Yaxley (Chicoutimi / Riverbend / Montreal West) were able to qualify for the championship pool with a record of 4-2 in the preliminary round. In the championship pool, they had 1 win and 3 losses, giving them a final record of 5-5. This record was enough to finish in 5th place, 1 spot away from the playoffs.
In the women’s event, the team of Nathalie Gagnon, Isabelle Néron, Ginette Simard, Karine Tremblay and Cynthia Plouffe (Chicoutimi / Riverbend / Buckingham) were unable to qualify for the championship pool. With one win in two games in the seeding pool, they finished the event with a record of 2-6.
