What a joy to see so many kids on the ice during the Hit, Draw, Tap provincial final!
Between the end of November and the beginning of December, more than 300 kids participated in the Hit, Draw & Tap event at their club. In all, 22 different clubs participated in this competition! The top 10 in each category were invited to participate in the 2024 provincial grand final in Drummondville alongside the elite men and women’s teams competing to go to the Brier and the Scotties tournament of hearts.
The Hit, Draw, Tap competition is a skills competition for young athletes between the ages of 6 and 13. Participants are divided into three distinct age categories and must make three different shots:
- A hit
- A draw
- A tap (raise)
We saw some very solid performances that day, the next generation of curlers is very impressive! Congratulations to the medalists of this provincial championship
