1- Initiation and recruitment of young curling players: Initiation and recruitment of young curling players has been a priority for Curling Quebec in recent years. We just recently received this wonderful testimony from the mother of a new player and we simply couldn’t resist sharing it with all of you. 2- Meritas Awards Nominations: It is that time of the year to recognize the exceptional achievements of volunteers, craftsmen and craftswomen, athletes and the various curling events that took place over the 2018-2019 season. For all the details and the nomination forms, click here (https://curling-quebec.qc.ca/about-us/awards/meritas/?lang=en). You have until April 30th, 2019 to send your nominations to the Curling Québec’s office.
3- ONCE AGAIN – One of our email addresses has been phished: One of our email address was phished. If you receive an email concerning an invoice and that the signature doesn’t include the correct Curling Québec telephone number, nor our logo, please disregard that email. After many conversations with our suppliers, it seems that there’s nothing we can do about it. Someone is using that email address to try to fraud people and we can’t find that person. We were told that the interest for that email address will go down after a while and will stop eventually. We are sorry for the inconvenients out of our control.
4- Invitation: The 2nd edition of the Senior Tournament of Quebec will happen from Thursday September 26th to Sunday September 29th, 2019 at the Jacques-Cartier and Victoria curling clubs. Four categories (Senior, Masters, Women and Participation) will be programmed and prizes will be given. See registration form.
