Hi everyone! Here’s your weekly news:
1- The 28th Quebec Hall of Fame: The 28th Quebec Hall of Fame Induction Gala was presented on September 25th and 11 athletes and builders were inducted including Guy Hemmings. Our most sincere congratulations to Guy for this wonderful and fully deserved honour. In addition to excelling on the ice throughout his career, he has helped to democratize our sport and make it more accessible to the general public, a mission he is still pursuing through his work on television. Congratulations Guy!
2- Tic, Tap & Toc returns: The Tic, Tap & Toc Championship returns for its second season! Check out our webpage for all the details and sign up your club before November 16th!
3- Bel-Aire curling club celebrates its 60th anniversary: This year, Bel-Aire curling club will celebrate its 60th anniversary. Congratulations! Many activities are organised for that occasion. 4- The new Rules of Curling book has arrived: The new Curling Canada Rules of Curling book 2018-2022 is now available. They are also bilingual. Each book is 6$ + taxes (6.90$). If you would like to order a copy, just send an email to info@curling-quebec.qc.ca mentioning the desired quantity, your name and complete postal address. An invoice will be sent with your order. The books are payable by cheque or by bank transfer.
5- Invitation: Magog curling club invites you to its 2nd edition of its Mixte Double Tournament next November 1st to 4th.
6- Invitation: TMR curling club invites you to its 4th edition of the Bonspiel Phénix-Cleghorn that will happen from November 9th to 11th.
