1- Tic, Tap & Toc is here! : Curling Québec presents the new skill competition dedicated exclusively to children ages 6-13, that is sure to become this year’s favorite junior event! Easy and free to organise, make sure to send us your registrations for Tic, Tap & Toc before December 1st! 2- Competition coach workshop : A Competition Coach Workshop (2 days) will be offered January 20-21at the Chicoutimi curling club. Schedule : Saturday & Sunday – 8.30 a.m. to 4.30 p.m.. Language : French. Documentation and equipment provided on-site. Lunch not included. NCCP activity #5205246. Instructor : Julie Hamel. Registration deadline: November 10, 2017. To register click here. Probably the only Competition Coach workshop in that region this year, so don’t miss it.
3- Reminder – Promotional tools: Ask and you shall receive! Your donations to Placements Sports allowed us, among other things, to develop promotional tools for curling clubs. Our slogan ‘Don’t think twice and get out on the ice’ is now on 19′ X 24′ posters and on mini-flyers. For only 20$ taxes included (just to cover the postal fees) get 5 posters and 25 flyers. 4- Governor General Curling Club – a new member : Alain Deschâtelets has been involved in curling for many years and he has greatly contributed to grow our sport locally (Buckingham curling club), regionally (Outaouais) and provincially as a player, ambassador, organizer and board member. He became a member of the Governor General’s Curling Club last Saturday in recognition of his significant contribution to the development and promotion of the sport. Congratulations Alain!
5- Invitation : The BDCC Experience Classic will happen at Baie d’Urfé curling club November 5, 8 to12.
6- Invitation : Lennoxville curling club invites you to its ”Sticks & Stones” Bonspiel tournament from November 6 to 10.
