Curling Canada is bringing back the Girls Rock, presented by Scotties, program to support curling clubs across the country in creating local events that encourage girls and young women to participate in the sport.
For the 2026–2027 season, up to 40 curling clubs across Canada will be selected to receive $500 in funding to support the delivery of their local Girls Rock event. This financial support will help clubs create a welcoming, fun, and inspiring experience that encourages more young girls to discover and enjoy curling.
Interested clubs are invited to submit their applications according to the following timeline:
- Applications open: August 25, 2026
- Application deadline: October 18, 2026
Clubs can find more information about the program and submit their application through Curling Canada’s official webpage by clicking here.
This initiative provides clubs with a great opportunity to host an event focused on building confidence, developing skills, creating connections, and fostering a positive environment for girls.
