1-) Chantal Cormier is joining your Curling Québec’s team : Curling Québec is extremely happy to welcome Chantal Cormier as the new Management and Financing Coordinator. Chantal is joining our team with numerous years of experience in project management and event organization and she brings a new perspective to our development mission of the sport of curling in Quebec. She will be working with all affiliated clubs in finding solutions to organizational challenges and promotion of the sport. 2-) REMINDER : Canada Games : The qualification process for the 2019 Canada Games will begin this fall. Teams wishing to participate must complete the registration forms before November 1st, 2016. All participants must be aged 17 years or younger as of June 30, 2018. For more information, contact Alanna Routledge, our Director of Competitions.
3-) REMINDER – Club Coach course – Dolbeau-Mistassini : On Sag/Lac’s people request, a Club Coach Course has been organized next October 22-23 at the Dolbeau-Mistassini curling club. You have until next Tuesday to register. Consult our calendar on our new website to register online.
4- REMINDER : Introduction Competition Coach Certification : On lots of coaches’s request, a whole week-end has been booked at the Aurèle-Racine curling club for the certification with Alan Smith and André Ferland of Competition coaches. So far, only 4 persons has registered. Note that coach certification in region for only one person means important expenses that Curling Québec cannot afford completely. So that doesn’t mean that other certification sessions will be held. The Jeux du Québec, the Juvenile Circuit and Junior Tournaments require that all coach must be certified. 5-) Introduction Competition Coach Course – Etchemin : A Introduction Competition Coach course has been opened in FRENCH at the Etchemin curling club next November 5-6. The last day to register is October 28. So far we have received NO form. If less than 8 participants register, we will cancel that course. Consult our calendar on our new website to register online.
6-) Introduction Competition Coach Course – Glenmore : A Introduction Competition Coach course has been opened in ENGLISH at the Glenmore curling club next December 3-4. The last day to register is November 25. Consult our calendar on our new website to register online.
7-) Invitation : Victoria Curling Club invites you to his 11th Edition of its Tournoi Senior Provincial that will be held December 1st to 4th.
😎 Invitation : Aurèle-Racine curling club will hold its 10th Edition of its Tournoi Senior Partie de Jour and invite you to attend next November 16 and 18.
