1-) Provincial Circuit Final : The provincial circuit final began last night at Glenmore Curling Club. This event brings in the top 16 men’s teams in the province as well as the best 8 senior men’s teams in Quebec. 2-) Elite and Junior Series :
Registration deadlines :
Elite series: men, women, seniors, masters and wheelchair – December 1st, 2016
Elite series: mixed doubles – January 16th 2017
Junior series U21: November 29th, 2016
3-) Beginners competitions: Are you looking for something new and exciting? Would you like to visit other curling clubs and play against new teams? All participants must be 18 years of age or older and must have 5 years of curling experience or less. All skill levels are welcome. 4-) Survey for Workshop : All clubs received this week a survey for us to know your interest of having a Combined Level 1&2 Ice Technician course in French near Montreal next 3-4 December. Instead of cancelling a course due to a lack of participants, we use a new tool of survey to know your interest before organising it. If more than 8 people answer positively, it will be our pleasure to oraganize it. Limit date of the survey: Monday November 14.
5-) Reminder – Competition Coach Workshop : A Competition Coach-Introduction in English will be help at the Glenmore curling club next Decemebr 3-4. You can register online with this link http://curling-quebec.qc.ca/event/formation-entraineur-de-competitiomn-introduction-2-jours-glenmore/?lang=en/.
6-) Pair of Tickets to give : From January 8to 15, The Men Tankard WFG and the Women Scotties Provincial Curling Championship will be held at the Levis’s arena. A pair of tickets for each curling club is offer for the day of your choice.
7-) Equipement Rental : Winter season being right around the corner, as well as outdoor festivals, Curling Quebec wants to remind its affiliated clubs on the possibility to rent equipement from the federation. This equipment rental will provide you with all the necessary resources to offer an outdoor curling activity in your municipality (curling stones, brooms, etc.). The visibility provided by this type of initiative will have a positive impact for the promotion of the sport and for the development of new curling enthusiasts.
