Curling Québec is pleased to announce the recipients of the Meritas Awards for the 2025-2026 season, an annual program that aims to recognize and celebrate the outstanding achievements of the curling community across the province. These awards highlight the remarkable efforts, commitment and successes of our clubs, athletes and volunteers. Beyond performances on the ice, the Meritas Awards also recognize the behind-the-scenes work, innovation and passion that contribute to the vitality of our sport. The initiative pays tribute not only to established members of the curling community, but also to inspiring projects and individuals who, season after season, contribute to the development and growth of curling in Québec. It is a way of saying THANK YOU to everyone who turns their passion into concrete actions for their sports community. Each year, five awards are presented to reflect the diversity of contributions within the curling community. Through these categories, Curling Québec aims to celebrate the pillars of our sport, whether they stand out through their performance, leadership, generosity, team spirit or ability to innovate. This award may be presented to any curling club in Québec that stands out through the energy of its members, its originality and its performance in terms of activities, events or membership. It is not necessarily awarded to the best-funded clubs, but rather to clubs that provide excellent service to their members, have significantly increased their membership, launched an outstanding promotional initiative, etc.
This annual award may be presented to any individual or organization to recognize an exceptional achievement, outstanding project or contribution that deserves to be recognized.
This award may be presented to an individual in recognition of an exceptional and sustained volunteer contribution to the promotion and development of curling. Please note that only achievements from the reference year are considered in this category, rather than the individual’s career-long contributions.
