Two Quebec teams on the podium at the Colts World Championship!
The 2nd edition of the Colts World Championship took place last weekend in the United States, with teams from several countries, including four teams from Quebec.
After an almost flawless preliminary round, all four Quebec teams qualified for the playoffs. Two of them faced each other, with one eliminating the other, while another advanced through a separate quarter-final: the Paquette and Boucher teams thus reached the semifinals.
The Boucher team from Boucherville won their semifinal, while the Paquette team from Glenmore lost to the United States.
In the final, the Paquette team took the bronze medal (on the left in the photo) and the Boucher team won the silver medal (on the right in the photo)!
Congratulations to all Quebec teams for this outstanding performance!
