The Jeux du Québec 2026 were held from February 27 to March 7, in Blainville. The curling events were part of the second competition block, held from March 4 to 7.
This year, 31 teams — 16 men’s and 15 women’s — representing 17 regions of Quebec took part in the curling tournament. Matches were played at the Rosemère Curling Club as well as at the Rosemère arena. In total, more than one hundred athletes had the opportunity to experience this unique moment as part of this major multisport event.
In each category, teams played three or four preliminary round games in order to qualify for the playoffs. At the end of this first phase, the top eight women’s and men’s teams advanced to the quarterfinals.
At the conclusion of the preliminary round, the following teams qualified:
Girls
Centre-du-Québec, Abitibi-Témiscamingue, Rive-Sud, Richelieu-Yamaska, Lac-St-Louis, Capitale-Nationale, Est-du-Québec, Laurentides
Boys
Laurentides, Montréal, Capitale-Nationale, Sud-Ouest, Saguenay–Lac-Saint-Jean, Mauricie, Côte-Nord, Est-du-Québec
The quarterfinals took place on the third day of competition and featured several close matchups. Once the top four teams in each category were determined, they competed for the podium positions.
In the boys’ competition, Montréal faced Laurentides in the gold medal game, while Mauricie played against Saguenay–Lac-Saint-Jean for the bronze medal.
