Last week, our coordinators Chantal and Jonathan visited the clubs in Chapais, La Sarre, Rouyn and Amos to offer workshops on curling management and development.
The workshop on management with Chantal is offered to help curling clubs establish a business action plan and think of new ways to develop their business. Participants got to discuss the situation at their club, identify their strenghts and weaknesses and discover new and successful approaches.
The workshop on development programs with Jonathan informed clubs about the various tools offered by Curling Quebec to help in the recruitment of new players: Curling 101, Igloo, Curling in the gym. Participating clubs have already announced that these initiation programs will be used starting next season to attract new players to the sport!
