Girls rock activity
In conjunction with the U20 provincial championship, we organized an introductory activity for girls aged 9 to 16 at the Noranda Curling Club. This free event was offered in collaboration with Curling Canada. The girls had a lot of fun and some will be back next Sunday for the club’s junior program. The girls were able to learn how to curl from female role models in their region, a big thank you to Team Noranda / Domaine Opasatica girls for hosting the activity.
Thanks
We would like to thank the referee-in-chief Yves Morissette and his assistant Pascale Benoit for their good humour and excellent refereeing work during the championship. We would also like to say a big thank you to our main sponsor Brosse Performance as well as the local sponsors for the event. Finally, we would like to thank the Noranda Curling Club and its volunteers for this great week, you have greatly contributed to the success of this championship!
