While we wait for the grand opening of the new Curling Club Des Collines, in Chelsea (Outaouais), the board members there are not wasting any time in getting things going. Specifically, they have launched a fundraising campaign, supported by the Fonds-Sports Québec program, that is achieving extraordinary results: since February 2017, Curling Des Collines has raised over $109,000!
The club received a particularly helpful donation…of over $50,000! Congratulations to one of our “youngest” clubs for making such great use of the FSQ program, and of the opportunities available through Curling Québec to raise the funds needed to build a brand new curling centre! We cannot wait to see the finished project!
We encourage all of our affilitated clubs to make use of the FSQ program, which is an extremely useful and effective tool to stimulate the development and the financial well-being of curling clubs in Québec.
