What does the future of curling look like in Quebec? The best way to predict the future is to create it ourselves! Don’t miss this incredible club development opportunity! Presented by Curling Quebec in collaboration with Curling Canada, this content-packed weekend event will be very beneficial for all board members, club managers and anyone with an interest in developing our sport. Together we will explore innovative ways to ensure that your curling club is reaching its full potential and is evolving with our ever-changing society.
The weekend will kick off with an innovation fair on Friday night from 7:00PM to 9:00PM. This will be a great networking opportunity, where club representatives will be asked to give a short presentation (max 2 minutes) explaining one of the unique things that their club does. This could be an initiation activity, a recruitment event, a summer revenue generating idea, etc. A panel of judges will be on site to vote for the best ideas. Prizes will be awarded to the top three clubs.
The official programming is still being finalized for the rest of the weekend, but you can expect to hear presentations about finances and risk management, membership recruitment and retention, women in curling, marketing and much more! Further details will be announced as we lead up to the event.
This opportunity is available for only $125 ($150 after February 29th) plus applicable taxes. Your registration includes hors d’oeuvres on Friday night, continental breakfast, lunch and snacks on Saturday, as well as a continental breakfast and snacks on Sunday.
All presentations will be given in French, however we’ll be happy to answer any questions in English throughout the weekend.
