1- AWARD MERITAS – EXTENSION: To allow clubs and regional associations to send more subscriptions for the Award Meritas in the 12 categories, the period for submitting subscriptions is being extended until Friday, May 10th. For more details and forms, click here.
2- Four (4) administrator positions to fill at Curling Québec: The period to register for one(1) of the four(4) administrator positions to be filled on the Board of Curling Québec is now open; you have until August 16th, which is a month before the Annual General Meeting that will happen next September 15th, 2019, to register. The members of the board are elected at the Annual General Meeting. Four (4) people are elected in the odd years and three (3) are elected in the even years. Each board member’s mandate is for a two year period. The mandates are renewable. Tous les membres de Curling Québec sont invités à assister à cette assemblée. Cependant, seuls les délégués votants dûment mandatés par leur association et présents sur place pourront exercer leur droit de vote. Notez que quatre des sept postes d’administrateurs du conseil d’administration seront en élection.
Les participants sont également invités à assister, en avant-midi, à une rencontre d’informations plus générales. Voici d’ailleurs l’horaire proposé pour cette importante journée.

4- 2019 For The Love of Curling Scholarship program now accepting applications: Canada’s future stars on the ice have the opportunity to also further their ambitions in the classroom, thanks to the Curling Canada Foundation’s For the Love of Curling Scholarship program. Applications are now being accepted for the 2019 For the Love of Curling Scholarships, which are funded through the generous support of the Canadian curling community. 5- Curling Video on Radio-Canada: Do not miss the TV show “Podium” presented on Saturday, May 4 on Ici Radio-Canada Télé (French CBC) between noon and 1:00 pm. A video clip featuring two your curlers (Zachary & Nicolas Janidlo from the Pointe-Claire CC) will be aired.
