Let’s take a few minutes today to highlight all the women in the world of curling who are evolving in the sport and making it evolve. We want to see more and more women in our sport, and we encourage all girls and women to take the step of coming and trying our beautiful sport.
Happy International Women’s Day and special mention to the curlers, the referees who give their time during the season, but also the trainers, mothers of players who support the teams unconditionally and the volunteers who make the tournaments possible
We are lucky to be represented at the national/international level by women who are persevering and respectful of this beautiful sport, but who also perform! We can also highlight the performances of the women this season at the Canadian Senior Championships with their silver medals, the girls with their bronze medals (girls and mixed doubles) at the Canada Games, as well as the gold medals at the Canadian and World Mixed Championships.
