1- Scotties starts tomorrow: The national Scotties championship starts tomorrow in Penticton, BC. Team Quebec will play their first round robin game against Nunavut tomorrow at 5 PM EST. Follow the action on TSN and RDS all week long. Best of luck to Émilia, Mélina, Marie-Pier, Chloé, Isabelle and Joël!!!
2- St-Georges team – a team to watch: We invite you to read the Sportcom’s press release (in French) written following Team St-Georges’s silver medal won at the Canadian Junior Championship in Shawinigan last week. Congratulations!
3- Junior Mixed: The registration deadline for the junior Mixed tournament was extended to February 3rd. The event will be held in Amos from April 6-8. http://curling-quebec.qc.ca/championships/juniors-and-juveniles/junior-mixed-provincial-championship/?lang=en
4- Cream of the Rock: Over 50 people have already selected their podium teams for the men’s provincial championship. You have until February 3rd at midnight to make your predictions. Registration is free and monetary prizes will be awarded to the top three participants at the end of the championship season. 5- Mixed Doubles: Registration deadline for Mixed Doubles – the deadline to register for the provincial mixed doubles championship is February 5th. Submit your registration by completing this form: https://curlingcanada.formstack.com/forms/double_mixte_2017_18
6- WFG Tankard: The WFG Tankard men’s provincial championship will be held at Glenmore Curling Club from February 4th to 11th. Come watch the top men’s curlers in the province compete for the chance to represent Quebec at the Brier. 8- REMINDER – Competition coach workshop in Amos: February 24-25, 2018 at the Amos curling club. Schedule: Saturday & Sunday- 8.30 a.m. to 4.30 p.m. Language: French.
