1- Appointment to the Board of Curling Québec: We are extremely pleased to announce that Ms. Pamela Nugent has been selected by the federation’s Board of Directors to fill the vacant position as of today. Pamela is a young mother, an accomplished athlete in many sports and a certified curling coach. Her varied professional experiences as a director and manager, coupled with her passion for curling, will certainly be important assets for Curling Québec. We would also like to take this opportunity to sincerely thank all of the other candidates who volunteered to serve on the Board of Directors and for their interest in Curling Québec.
2- Junior Championship: the registration deadline for the U-21 Performance Brush Junior provincial championship is October 26th, 2019. Register online by completing this form: https://curlingcanada.formstack.com/forms/prov_junior_2019_20
3- Ladies’ Curling 101!: a feminine addition is coming in January 2020. Learning to curl is now possible through this accessible program, taught by an all-women’s team of outstanding athletes…and with on-site childcare services! All details available online now. We encourage you to share all this information with your networks!
4- Tic Tap Toc registrations: don’t wait to register your club for the youth competition. All forms needed are conveniently available on our website
5- REMINDER: club affiliation fees payable BEFORE November 20th
For all clubs that haven’t paid their fees yet.
For an establishment/club to be a member of Curling Québec (and Curling Canada) it must signify its intention by completing the appropriate form and by paying the basic rate for Club Affiliation of 400$ (plus taxes) before November 20th or 500$ (plus taxes) after November 20th and mention if you wish to take part in the Curling Québec insurance program for administrators and directors (not included in the affiliation, additional 50$ + taxes fee will be applied).
Those fees are payable by cheque, Interac or bank transfer.

6- Club Coach Workshop (2 days) – Victoria curling club
Dates: December 21-22, 2019
Cost: 180$ + tx (206.96$) for the 2 days workshop
Schedule : Saturday & Sunday- 8.30 a.m. to 4.30 p.m.
