1- Scotties and Tankard WFG: The men and women’s provincial championships will begin on Sunday January 13th at the Grand-Mère arena. The top 14 men’s teams as well as the top 5 women’s teams in the province will compete for the right to represent Quebec at the Tournament of Hearts and the Brier. 2- Curling Québec’s Hall of Fame Ceremony : Next Thursday January 17th, 2019 Curling Québec will present an induction ceremony Hall of Fame for the BUILDERS category. This presentation ceremony – happening during the men and women’s provincial championships – will be held in the Grand-Mère arena and is open to all. We invite you to come with your friends to acknowledge the exceptional contribution that these people have made to the sport of curling :

3- Tic, Tap & Toc – provincial final: The provincial final 2019 of the Tic, Tap & Toc youth skills competition will happen this Saturday January 19th at the Grand-Mère Arena at 12PM. Come and see the future athletes on the ice. A medal ceremony on the ice will conclude this competition. Welcome everyone!
4- Junior Jamboree: The Junior Jamboree is sure to be a fun event for all the participants! Each team will be guaranteed to play 3 games and a spaghetti dinner will be included. The registration deadline is January 27, 2019. Register quickly! Only 8 teams will be accepted per section. https://curlingcanada.formstack.com/forms/jamboree
This will be the first time that we try the new Triples Curling format in Quebec. IN this format, teams are made up of 3 players, the games last 6 ends, and players change positions after every 2 ends. 5- Mittens and Gloves: As part of the upcoming 2019 Canada Games, the Quebec delegation and all the teams representing our province have been invited to participate in a unique program to collect the most pairs of mittens and gloves possible. All the items collected will be donated to an organization in the host city who will distribute it to people in need.
You can participate by sending us or by giving us your pairs of mittens and gloves before February 1st. Contact Marc-André (marobitaille@curling-quebec.qc.ca) for more details. Thank you very much for your generous collaboration.
6- Mixed Doubles: The registration deadline for the mixed doubles provincial championship is January 28th. Register online by completing the following form: https://curlingcanada.formstack.com/forms/double_mixte_2018_19

8- Caledonia Cup – Club Series: Building on the success of last year, four championships of the club series will once again be played simultaneously at TMR, Baie d’Urfé and Montreal West curling clubs, April 12-14, 2019. In addition to playing for top honors in their respective categories (Women, Men, Senior, and Mixed) teams also earn points for their Mega Team (1 win = 1 point). With the 200$/team registration fee you get :
- 3 games guaranteed
- a méchoui dinner on the Friday night
- a party on the Friday night
- a sweater for each player

9- CAP Programme: Curling Canada’s CAP programme is back ! This programme is available to all affiliated clubs and is an excellent opportunity to obtain funding specific projects. Click here for more details.
10- Invitation: Aurèle-Racine curling club invites you to its Invitation 2019 tournament on March 3rd and from March 7th to 10th, 2019.
11- Invitation: Among the activities to celebrate their 100th anniversary, Buckingham Curling Club organizes a Novice Bonspiel called ‘100 Little Rocks’ on March 3rd, 2019.
