Curling Canada and its fourteen provincial / territorial associations have traditionally collected information about the number of playing members in every affiliated curling club. While that data is very useful to our funding partners and sponsors, it often falls short of how other sports organizations are reporting their numbers.
We have built a very simple Excel spreadsheet for clubs to complete which will give us the number of curlers (not just members but renters as well) in your club each week and the number of games played every week. These numbers will assist everyone with a true picture of the health of your sport.
As an incentive, we will randomly select one club that submitted their form to win an all-expenses paid trip for four players to the final four days of any Curling Canada event in 2020-2021. The winning rink can use the prize in any manner they choose. The prize includes: four round trip airfares, two hotel rooms with 2 beds for 4 nights, plus four tickets to all games during those final four days.
