It is this Sunday that a full week of championships gets underway in Rimouski. The ice is ready, and everything is in place to welcome athletes, officials, and spectators for a week of exciting competition.
Curling Québec, the host club, and ParaSports are ready to launch this major event, which will bring together teams from across Québec.
The week begins today with the presentation of the Hit, Draw, Tap provincial finals, a skills competition for children aged 6 to 12. This will be followed by the first games for the women’s teams. A total of 6 women’s teams will take part in the competition.
Starting Monday, the 16 men’s teams will take to the ice. Wheelchair curling competition will begin on Friday, featuring 4 teams.
While the women’s teams will conclude their competition on Wednesday, the men’s and wheelchair curling teams will continue play through Sunday.
