Two Caravan regionals took place from October 2 to 4, with the goal of qualifying two teams for the 2027 Provincial Tankard Championship, which will be held at the Noranda Curling Club.
Grand-Mère Curling Club
At the Grand-Mère Curling Club, four teams competed in a round robin to determine the two teams advancing to the final.
Team Bornais, consisting of, Normand Bornais, Jérôme Adam, Samuel Bornais and Samuel Roberge, faced Team Tremblay, made up of William Tremblay, Hugo Dallaire Bouchard, Cedrick Bilodeau and Mathieu Chouinard, in the final.
Team Bornais came out on top, winning the Grand-Mère Caravan Regional and earning the title of champion!
Valleyfield Curling Club
At the Valleyfield Curling Club, five teams competed in a round robin. The team with the best record advanced directly to the final, while the second- and third-place teams faced each other in the semifinal.
On Sunday afternoon, two local teams battled for the championship. Team Leduc, consisting of Alexandre Leduc, François Hallé, Nicolas Dumaresq and Martin Trépanier, claimed the title with a victory over Team Martin Rousse, featuring Michel Trudeau, Yannick Guay and François Moojekind.
