Last week, team Quebec composed of Emily Riley, Émile Asselin, Laurie St-Georges and Félix Asselin won the gold medal at the Canadian Mixed Championship in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan. With ten wins and only two losses, the team was able to put out its best performances throughout the week and finished at the top of the podium by beating Northern Ontario 10-3 in the final.
Curling Quebec would like to congratulate the team that will represent Canada at the next World Mixed Championship in 2023! It is also with great pride to highlight that Quebec has won the Canadian Mixed Championship three times in a row, with three different teams! This marks the first time this has happened in this competition!
The season has just started and we already have the world mixed champions and the Canadian mixed champions in our province, we are looking forward to the rest of the season!
