On March 15th, during the mixed bonspiel at Vallée-de-la-Gatineau Curling Club, Mr. Jocelyn Carle received the Volunteer of the Year Meritas Award. The award was presented by Mr. Richard Gervais, one of Curling Quebec’s valued board members. Mr. Carle was selected as the recipient of this award due to his many years of dedication at the Vallée-de-la-Gatineau Curling Club. He was responsible for launching the junior program at their club, including implementing Curling Quebec’s First Rock and Blizzard programs, as well as organizing their regional Quebec Games qualification event. His involvement and dedication to the junior program in their club is remarkable and he is clearly very deserving of the Volunteer of the Year award. Congratulations!
