The Provincial Tige Championship took place at the Sherbrooke Curling Club from January 24 to 26, 2025. This championship was presented for the very first time by Curling Québec. Anyone playing with a stick, including people in wheelchairs, could participate. The games were 6 ends long. In total, 18 teams competed for the title of provincial champion. The teams were made up of two players, with no gender restrictions. The top two teams had the opportunity to wear the official Curling Québec jackets to represent Quebec at the national championship.

In the gold medal final, the Pointe-Claire team won the match 5-1 to become the provincial champion! Congratulations to Gerry Yuskowski and Dan Fafard! The local team, composed of Gaétan Bell and Michel Trudel, won the silver medal.
In the bronze medal final, the team from the Hudson Whitlock club defeated the Lennoxville team 6-0 to win the bronze medal. Congratulations to J-P Poirier and Coleen Volk for their bronze medal!
Finally, we would like to warmly thank our championship umpire Johanne Charest, as well as the organizing committee, for their time and energy. Curling Québec is excited to return to the Sherbrooke Curling Club in a few weeks for the Provincial Colts Championship!
