The Canadian Cancer Society (CCS) is launching the new Curl for Cancer initiative (press release link). This initiative gives a fantastic opportunity for curling organizations, participants, and provincial affiliates to raise critical funds while strengthening the sense of community within the sport.
Why Get Involved?
Curling has always been more than a sport—it is about fostering connections and creating positive change. Curl for Cancer is a way to rally the community for a cause that touches everyone. This is the perfect time to activate members and affiliates around a meaningful national movement. They are also working with professional curlers including Craig Savill, Emma Miskew, Laurie St-Georges to elevate the campaign and drive even greater impact.
Creative Ways to Participate
We understand that every curling organization is different, which is why the Canadian Cancer Society is offering a flexible approach to participation. They are excited to collaborate with curling organizations across the country. The CCS will provide all necessary resources and tools to ensure a smooth, successful experience for your participants and community. The Early Bird draw deadline is October 31st, 2024, which includes great prizes to help support organizations who sign up early.
