The Tankard and Scotties tournaments came to a close this past Sunday, January 26th, in Valleyfield, after a week filled with exciting curling. Congratulations to the two teams that took home the gold medals and provincial titles!
A job well done for Team Verreault (Noémie Verreault, Alanna Routledge, Marie-Pier Côté and Jill Routledge), winners of the 2020 Scotties tournament, who will head out to Moose Jaw, Sask., to compete in the Scotties Tournament of Hearts against the rest of country’s women’s provincial champions. Their adventure will start on February 15th through the 23rd.
Big congratulations also go to the Men’s Provincial Champions, Team Bédard (Alek Bédard, Louis Quevillon, Émile Asselin and Bradley Lequin), who claimed the Tankard gold medal and will be heading to Kingston, Ont., to compete in the Brier, February 29th-March 8th.

Bronze medal: Team Girard (Marianne Girard, Marie-Ève Boudreault, Mélanie Poirier and Roxane Poirier).

Silver medal: Team Roberge (Vincent Roberge, Jean-Michel Arsenault, Jesse Mullen, Julien Tremblay and coach Benoit Arsenault).
