ALMA’S PROVINCIAL SENIOR CURLING TOURNAMENT
VERY IMPORTANT COMMUNICATION
We are sad to announce that the 19th edition of our SENIOR provincial curling tournament is cancelled. This event was scheduled to take place from October 17th to 22nd in the newly renovated Riverbend curling club.
The organising committee had to take this decision for two main reasons.
- Firstly, because we believe that it would have been very difficult to allow the registered teams to play on ice with non-optimal conditions. There is a lot of uncertainty on this subject currently.
- Considering the number of registrations who are much lower than the previous seasons.
We are aware of the inconvenience that this decision can cause to the teams who had planned to participate. Unfortunately, as we are only one week event from the event, we thought that it would be best to advise everyone as soon as possible.
We would like to wish everyone a great curling season.
