Volunteer of the Year
After presenting the Méritas award to Ms. Janique Allard on November 26 during the Tuesday Night Super League in the presence of many colleagues, Curling Québec administrator Mr. Richard Gervais had a second opportunity to honor Ms. Allard during the Volunteer Dinner on December 7 – a truly fitting occasion! The sport of curling owes so much to dedicated volunteers like Ms. Allard, and it is with great joy that we acknowledge her contributions. Contributor of the Year
During the U18 Provincial Championship, held at the Buckingham and Thurso curling clubs from January 2 to 6, Mr. Robin Meldrum was presented with the Contributor of the Year Méritas by Curling Québec board member Mr. Richard Gervais. This award highlights his significant involvement in the sport. Notably, Mr. Meldrum participated in Kurling for Kids for the 7th consecutive year, helping to raise over $10,000 for this important cause. His dedication and commitment are remarkable assets to curling across the province. Congratulations and thank you, Mr. Meldrum!
